Policy on Disco's and Live Bands

At Lavender House Hotel we have no objections to you supplying your own Disco or Band, the only stipulation is that they bring all their own equipment and amplifiers and leave the area clean and tidy as they found it. Also required will be there Insurance certificate, PRS Music Certificate, and notification that all equipment is P.A.T Tested and passed.

Our Music Licence allows us to play until 3am at our discretion.

We do offer the services of our IN-HOUSE Disco, the benefit of booking our D.J. is that there is no intrusion with setting up, our own equipment is ready for use immediately, and you do not have to pay more for our D.J. To go on providing music in the early hours of the morning.

Policy on Bar and Teenage Parties

Our Alcohol Licence is until 2am for non-residents and we will as for identification if we are in any doubt of age. We do on occasions agree to holing 16th & 18th Birthday parties, on these night we insist that the parents of the teenager are present for the duration of the party and that all guests should be advised to bring identification with them. If we sense any unease or trouble we will advise the parents that we will not hesitate to stop the party from continuing.

Security Guards

Lavender House Hotel insists that all 16th 18th Birthday parties, music events etc. Have our Security Guards the party will not be booked without them. Security come in pairs and will need to be here ½ hour before and after the event. If there are more than 140 three security will be needed under 100 you may use two. Security Guards are £10.00 per hour per man.
