Lavender House Hotel specialise in Civil Ceremonies and Wedding Receptions.

Lavender House Hotel Function Suite

Our function suite is licensed for civil ceremonies and should the weather be inclement, or your ceremony is during the colder months, this room provides a light, airy, relaxed atmosphere for your celebration, with seating to accommodate approximately 150 guests for the ceremony itself and for a sit down meal. For a more intimate occasion our small reception room is available for gatherings of up to 35 guests, this rooms has a true country feel to it with low beams but benefits from a light airy extension providing a very pleasant ambiance. For larger functions we have the ability to join the two rooms together to provide seating for up to 200 guests. The Country Bar is available for guests to use prior to your ceremony and indeed on colder days is very popular with its log fire, low beams and lounge furniture.

A Selection of Wedding Menus

Invariably your day will incorporate a meal for your guests, whether it be a Finger Buffet or a three course meal, we put a lot of care and thought into helping you decide on what will be the best option for you. We welcome you to arrange a meeting with our Chef if need be and design a meal for all to enjoy. Unusually we offer the option to present your guests with a choice of menu, normally incorporated into your invitations as a pre-selection choice, where you can ask them to select between perhaps three starter courses, four main courses and three dessert courses, therefore eradicating the problem of choosing one meal to suit every ones taste.
